Deemed a "renaissance man" by his clients and friends, Tim pours a multitude of talents and experience into his filmwork and editing. With a background in classical music performance as well as in video, Tim merges the arts of film and sound in his work-- understanding the tempos and dynamics in his video editing as one would in a piece of music.

Tim's philosophy as video artist is to be true to the subject matter while giving it new life through film. You will not find flying hearts in Tim's wedding videos-- but rather, you'll have an elegant retelling of a story with beautiful imagery and tasteful effects. And one needs only to read Tim's lengthy client testimonials to understand his attention to small details.

Still in his early thirties, Tim brings a youthful spontaneity to videography. He is not one to repeat himself or use templates in his editing (as you'll see in his uniquely diverse samples); but rather, he draws on the character of the day and event to direct his editing.

Tim's film resumé is diverse. Besides the hundreds of highly satisfied brides and grooms, Tim has filmed for large companies such as Crowe Paradis and Cubist Pharmaceuticals, or performance groups such as BoSoma Dance, MassMotion Dance, Moco Arts, and Metropolis Ensemble. Tim also is the videographer for Waring School in Beverly, MA where he teaches as well.

Additionally, Tim is highly experienced with all other sorts of event videography, from Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, parties, sporting events, book-readings -- bringing to these his high standards and filming philosophy.

Tim uses only top-quality cameras, such as the Canon XL2, and edits with Final Cut Pro. He uses Sennheiser lavalier and shotgun microphones for superb audio.
